Gros Tienne

This renovation of a 1970s house undertakes a radical transformation, where the existing structure is deconstructed to reveal a new spatial balance. Conceived and executed in its entirety by Atelier Blink, the project explores a contemporary architectural language grounded in light, fluidity, and precision of use.

The volumes are clarified, opened, and set into tension, allowing views and movement to flow freely. Materials become a subtle language, shaping an atmosphere that is both warm and controlled. Custom-designed furniture extends the architecture, introducing modular elements that adapt to the rhythms of everyday life. Light, once again, takes its place as a primary material of the project.

From this transformation emerges a living environment connected to the outdoors, evolving with the rhythm of natural light as it moves through the spaces, in a careful balance between solid and void, intimacy and openness.
